He wondered how he would feel when he looked at Colin’s white face once more. He felt frightened when he thought about it. 3. What did he dream about one night? - He heard a sweet voice of his lovely wife. She was calling him from the secret garden. She must have been sent him a message by this dream. He had to come back home. 4. Why did he decide to come back home? - Mrs.Sowerby sent him a letter. It said that he should have return home. Something happened and Mr. Craven would be pleased with those news. Also his dream influenced him a lot. 5. Did he decide to open the secret garden? - Yes, he did. Although he didn’t know why exactly he was doing it, he wanted to open the door. 6. Where did he go when he arrived home? - He headed directly to the garden, but he couldn’t remember where the key was. He walked across the lawn and down to the long walk at the back of the secret garden. When he got there, he wondered if he was dreaming again. 7. Whom did Colin see when he ran out from the secret garden? - He say a red-cheeked heathy boy, who had life in his eyes and laughed sincerely. He stood straight and was strong. It was his son Colin. 8. Could Mr. Craven say anything when he saw his son healthy? - He couldn’t believe his eyes. He was taken aback by the amazement. He was trembling with happiness. He put the hand on Colin’s shoulder and held him still. He couldn’t speak for a moment. 9. Did the children tell him everything about the garden? - Yes, they did tell him everything. They told him how Mary and Colin had met in the middle of the night. They told him about the spring coming, and about their great secret. Mr. Craven laughed until he cried, and sometimes he cried when he was not laughing. 10. What sight did Mr. Medlock see through the window? - Mrs. Medlock saw a beautiful picture of a happy family. Mr. Craven was walking across the garden towards them, looking happier than he had been for years. And next to him, his head up in the air, and his eyes full of laughter, was Master Colin.
