THE DISCOURSE STYLE SPECIFICITY OF TOMSK REGION GOVERNOR’S
OFFICIAL WEB-SITE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE GENRE
«POLITICIAN’S POSITION»)
The main idea of the article is to disclose the stylistic specificity of the discourse of Tomsk region governor Sergey
Zhvachkin’s official web-site. The importance of the article that discourse analysis is useful for creation technologies that promote
politician image and activity of a politician. The stylistic specificity of the region governor’s official web-site discourse was described as exemplified in the discursive genre «politician’s position», which is the way of realization of discursive intention. As a

result, it was found that the discourse style realizes an official and a personal component. It contributes the formation of the politician’s positive image.
