The article is devoted to the national unity in domestic political and legal thought of the period of the Mongol
invasion. Analyzes Chronicles, hagiographic (Church) literature and works of the heroic epic. The idea of unity of
the Ancient Russian state are key to most of the known
written sources and extant works of folklore. Most clearly
the ideology of unification, the princely combating separatism expressed in the works of the heroic epic, which
largely anticipated and to some extent, has written political and legal thought of his time.
