NEW TOOLBAR IN PPT
› The Ericsson Toolbars in 2003 will look the same as today
but with a few updates for PowerPoint:
– A new color tool supporting the updated color set-up
– The possibility to insert Ericsson logotypes and e-cons
The Ericsson PowerPoint Toolbar:
› For those who use Office 2010 the Ericsson Toolbar looks
slightly different due to the different design in Office 2010
but with the same new functions as in PowerPoint 2003.

computers that do not have the Ericsson
Capital TT font installed

Ericsson Capital TT font installed).

When importing pictures and then changing size,
the original picture size is still stored in the file.
By using Function > Compress
Images, you reduce all of the
pictures in the presentation.

CHECK THAT THE EMBEDDING
OF FONTS IS CORRECTLY SET
To make the Ericsson Capital TT font visible
also in computers that does not have this font
installed e.g. non-Ericsson computers, we must
have the font embedded in the presentations.
Under some conditions the default MS
PowerPoint 2003 setting “Embed all
characters...” may get chosen. If you have
some other fonts in the presentation e.g. Asian
fonts the presentation may get very big.
In the “Tools” menu, click “Options”, click the
“Save tab”, and then check that the alternative
Embed characters in use only....” is chosen.

CREATE A PDF
Alternatives:
1. Let Eridoc, CDM or GASK create your PDF’s.
Default done for Approved Documents. For
preliminaries (e.g. PA1) on demand.
2. User the Ericsson Document Formatting Service,
to upload the PowerPoint presentation and get a
PDF in return.(No cost).
3. Order and install the Adobe Acrobat Pro and use
it to create PDF:s. (The menu “Convert to Adobe
PDF” will be added in PowerPoint).
(This application has a rather high cost for
Ericsson).
1. Note: Do not use the Acrobat PDF Writer “Adobe
PDF” in your print menu.
4. NOTE: In MS PowerPoint 2010 the above is not
necessary while save as PDF is built-in.
