1) Why did David pick Solomon to be king instead of Adonijah? He made a promise to
Bathsheba that Solomon will be King after him (1 Kings 1:17, 3 Царств 1:17)
2) How did God appear to Solomon in the beginning of his reign? (3 Царств 3:5)
3) What did God say to Solomon? “Ask what I shall give thee”
4) What did Solomon ask for? “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge
thy people, that I may discern between good and bad” (1 Kings 3:9, 3 Царств 3:9)
5) How did God reply to Solomon’s requests? “I have given thee a wise and an
understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall
any arise like unto thee.

And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so
that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.” (1 Kings 3:1213, 3 Царств 3:12-13)
The Story of the Two Women with the Dead Child
6) How did Solomon solve the puzzle that the two women brought before him? “25And the
king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.” (1 Kings

10) How was the temple built? “7And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made
ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of
iron heard in the house, while it was in building.” (1 Kings 6:7, 3 Царств 6:7)
11) How did the people know that God came to the temple during the dedication and opening
of the temple? “10And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that
the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD

the other 10 to his servant.
15) What was the name of Solomon’s servant that became king after Solomon’s death and
how did he find out that he will be king? “29And it came to pass at that time when
Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the
way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:

And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces: 31And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel,
Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to
thee:” (1 Kings 11:29-31, 3 Царств 11: 29-31) Jeroboam was the name, and a prophet
showed him that he will be king.
16) What was Solomon’s son’s name, the one that became king over 2 tribes? “Rehoboam
his son reigned in his stead.” (1 Kings 11:43, 3 Царств 11: 43)
17) What event led to the rebellion of the ten tribes from King Rehoboam to follow
Jeroboam? “And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto
Rehoboam, saying, 4Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the
grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we
will serve thee.” The people asked for lighter laws. (1 Kings 12:3-4, 3 Царств 12: 3-4)

19) The kingdom of Judah had which king and how many tribes? Rehoboam and two tribes ,

20) What was Jeroboam afraid of happening? “27If this people go up to do sacrifice in the
house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their
lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to
Rehoboam king of Judah. 28Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of
gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods,
O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.” He was afraid of people
leaving him to follow the other king so he made 2 golden calves, so people would not go

21) What did the man of God say to Jeroboam when he had a feast and was offering a
sacrifice to the golden calf? He said the altar will be destroyed and ashes poured out.
22) What happened to the king’s hand when he tried to stop the man of God? He put his hand
out to tell his people to stop him but could not put his hand back because it dried up. (1

23) What did the King ask the man of God after this? He asked if the man of God can pray
for God to heal his hand. The man prayed and God Healed the hand and it returned back

24) What did God not let this man do? “9For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD,
saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.” (1
Kings 13: 9, 3 Царств 13: 9)
25) What event happened to the man of God that led to him to be killed by a lion? After the
man left, another old prophet found this man of God and said that an angel told him to go
and eat at his house, but he lied, the man of God went to his house ate and drank, then
that prophet WAS told by God to tell the man of God that because he did not listen his
body will not be buried in the tombs of his fathers and he will die. After the man of God
left the house he met a lion and the lion killed him, but did not eat him or the donkey. The
prophet went and found him and buried him. (1 Kings 13: 11-32, 3 Царств 13: 11-32)
26) When Jeroboam’s child was really sick what did Jeroboam do? He told his wife to dress
like someone else and sent his wife to the prophet that said he will have the ten tribes. (1
Kings 14: 1-17, 3 Царств 14: 1-17)
27) What happened in the 5th year of Rehoboam’s reign? “that Shishak king of Egypt came up
against Jerusalem: 26And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the
treasures of the king’s house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold
which Solomon had made. 27And king Rehoboam made in their stead brazen shields” (1 Kings
14: 25-27, 3 Царств 14: 25-27)

Г) Самуил – последний судья, помазал Саула, а так же Давида на царство (1Цар.10:1-16,
13).

пророков) И он один из первых больших пророков.

A) Ахав – седьмой царь Израильского царства и муж Иезавели.
Б) Елисей – приемник Илии.
В) Нееман – был прокажённым, которого исцелил Елисей.
