В статье даётся обзор зарубежных исследований психологических проблем
безработных, среди которых: чувство утраты контроля над жизненными
условиями, утрата планов на будущее, снижение чувства самоценности и
доверия к близким, апатия, связанная с чувством потери надежд. Работа, кроме
способа получить материальное вознаграждение, выполняет такие функции как
определение статуса и идентификации людей, структурирует время, расширяет
их
социальные
горизонты.
Результаты
собственных
эмпирических
исследований совпадают с выводами западных специалистов: у безработных
снижены
интернальность,
самодостаточность,
значимость
ценностей,
связанных с социальным интересом, меняется отношения к разным периодам
своей жизни. Эти тенденции должны быть учтены при организации социальной
реабилитации безработных.

Social and Psychological Problems of the Unemployed People

This article provides an overview of the foreign studies on the psychological problems
of unemployed people, among which are a sense of losing control over living
conditions, loss of plans for the future, reducing the feeling of self-worth and
confidence in their people, apathy, related to the sense of loss of hope. A job, apart
from the way to get reward, performs such functions as determining the status and
identification of people, structures time and expands their social horizons. The results
of the author’s empirical studies coincide with the findings of the western experts:
unemployed people have reduced internality, self-sufficiency, significance of the
values related to the social interests, changes in their attitude to different periods of
their life. These trends must be taken into account in organizing social rehabilitation
of the unemployed people.
