NITRIDE CRYSTAL PHASE FORMATION AT BORON AND SILICON POWDER

Investigation stages of the phenomenon of air nitrogen chemical binding at burning of a
number of powdered metals, boron and silicon with independent nitride crystal phases formation are considered. The singularity of this phenomenon is connected with the contradiction, i.e.
according to thermodynamic calculations nitrides should be oxidized by oxygen. It is shown,
that this phenomenon is interdisciplinary, i.e. it can appear in many scientific areas. The probable mechanism of nitrides formation at high temperatures in the presence of air oxygen is suggested.
