VLADIMIR A few words about our city and school. Linguistic gymnasium 23rd is one of the best schools in the city. It has close relationship with different countries. We often have guests from the USA, France, Germany and England. And now we would like to make friends with Italian schoolchildren. We live in the city of Vladimir, which is 150 kilometers from Moscow. It is 1,5 hour by train. Vladimir is located on the Klyazma river and it was founded in 990. Vladimir was a medieval capital of Russia, with significant buildings surviving from the 12th century. Two of its Russian Orthodox cathedrals, a monastery, and associated buildings have been designed as among the White Monuments of Vladimir, a UNESCO world Heritage Site. We are planning to: 1. Organize acquaintance with our school and educational process. 2. Make friends with Russian teens. 3. See the sights of Vladimir and Suzdal. 4. Visit Moscow and see the main sights of the city
