У рамках візиту команда Дніпропетровського регіону, яка безпосередньо впроваджує литовськоукраїнські проекти на місцевому рівні провела окремі робочі зустрічі в Міністерстві оборони краю Литовської Республіки, Міністерстві охорони здоров'я Литовської Республіки, Міністерстві закордонних справ Литовської Республіки, Міністерстві внутрішніх справ Литовської Республіки, Посольстві України в Литовської Республіки та Президентурі. The Republic of Lithuania is one of the most active partners of Dnipropetrovsk region. The systematic work on the development of bilateral relations through interaction at both the highest and expert levels is being made on a joint efforts basis. On October 6 - 10, 2019, the delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region visited the Republic of Lithuania. Within the framework of the visit, the team of Dnipropetrovsk region, which directly implements LithuanianUkrainian projects at the local level, held separate business meetings in the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania and the President office. The Lithuanian Government consistently and initiatively has been taking efficient steps on assistance in problem solving concerning consequences of the anti-terrorist operation in the East of the country. The Delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region came to the Republic of Lithuania to gain experience in establishing a comprehensive assistance programme for injured servicemen in Ukraine - providing them with physical and psychological rehabilitation. Друскінінкай, в якому відбувається лікування ветеранів Операції Об’єднаних Сил (антитерористичної операції). Проект розпочато у 2015 році і він передбачає направлення на проходження курсу фізичної реабілітації поранених військовослужбовців у зоні проведення Операції Об’єднаних Сил до медичного закладу міста Друскінінкай. За весь час реалізації проекту реабілітацію пройшли близько 260 бійців, з яких 150 – з Дніпропетровської області. During the visit, the delegates got acquainted with the work of the legendary Military Rehabilitation Center in Druskininkai of Jonas Basanavicius Military Medical Service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Lithuania, which treats veterans of the Joint Forces Operation (anti-terrorist operation). The project was started in 2015 and it provides sending the servicemen wounded in the area of the Joint Forces Operation to Druskininkai Medical Facility in order to do a course for the physical rehabilitation. About 260 fighters, including 150 from Dnipropetrovsk region, have been rehabilitated during the project. Команда Дніпропетровської обласної клінічної лікарні імені Мечникова поділилася власним досвідом пережитого та розповіла цивільним лікарям та лікарям військово-медичної служби Литовської Республіки про свій унікальний досвід порятунку важко поранених бійців. Visit to Santaros klinikos Hospital of Vilnius University. The team of Dnipropetrovsk Mechnikov Regional Clinical Hospital shared their life experiences and told both civilian and some military medical service doctors of the Republic of Lithuania about their unique experience in rescuing seriously wounded soldiers. Ректор Дніпропетровського державного університету внутрішніх справ полковник поліції Андрій Фоменко та завідувач кафедри гуманітарних дисциплін та психології поліцейської діяльності Кирило Недря здійснив візит до Міністерства внутрішніх справ Литовської Республіки. Ректор Андрій Фоменко докладно презентував Центр литовського права та розповів про результати його діяльності. Ключову увагу зосередили на обговоренні особливостей реалізації проекту зі створення регіонального онлайн центру надання психологічної допомоги учасникам бойових дій, які наразі перебувають у зоні АТО / ООС, та членам їхніх родин. Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs Colonel of Police Andriy Fomenko and Head of the Department of Humanities and Psychology of Police Kyrylo Nedrya paid a visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. Rector Andriy Fomenko minutely presented the Center for Lithuanian Law and recounted the results of its activities. The focus was on discussing the features of implementing the project of creation of a regional online psychological assistance center for combatants currently in the ATO / JFO area and their families. 9 жовтня 2019 р. Президент Литовської Республіки Гітанас Наусєда прийняв українських військових, які були поранені у ході АТО/ООС на сході України та проходять реабілітацію у Військовому реабілітаційному центрі м. Друскінінкай, та делегацію Дніпропетровської області. Президент Литовської Республіки під час зустрічі наголосив на беззастережній підтримці України в її боротьбі за незалежність, суверенітет та територіальну цілісність у міжнародно визнаних кордонах. У цей же день українська делегація провела зустріч з Міністром закордонних справ Литовської Республіки Лінасом Лінкявічюсом, а також ознайомилась з роботою литовського зовнішньополітичного відомства. У приміщенні Посольства України у Литві пройшла тепла зустріч Посла України в Литовської Республіки В.Яценківського з українськими героями та делегацією Дніпропетровської області. On October 9, 2019, the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda welcomed some Ukrainian soldiers who were injured during the ATO / JFO in eastern Ukraine and are currently undergoing rehabilitation at Druskininkai Military Rehabilitation Center, and the delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region. During the meeting, the President of the Republic of Lithuania emphasized the unconditional support of Ukraine in its struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity at internationally recognized borders. On the very day, the Ukrainian delegation met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, and also got acquainted with the work of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry. In the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine to Lithuania, a warm meeting of Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania V. Yatsenkovsky with the Ukrainian heroes and the delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region was held. «Литовська Республіка, незважаючи на обмеженість власних фінансових ресурсів, продовжує надавати суттєву гуманітарну, медичну, військовотехнічну та іншу допомогу вашій державі. Литва залишатиметься близьким партнером України на міжнародній арені і надалі рішуче підтримуватиме її суверенітет і територіальну цілісність» - Лінас Лінкявічус. “Despite the limited financial resources, the Republic of Lithuania continues to provide substantial humanitarian, medical, military and technical aid to your country. Lithuania will remain Ukraine's close partner in the international arena and will continue to strongly support its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs summed up. Президент Литовської Республіки Гітанас Наусєда підкреслив, що литовська держава доклала значних зусиль для отримання Україною політичної, економічної, експертної та військово-технічної допомоги від ЄС та інших міжнародних структур для стабілізації політичної і економічної ситуації в країні. Пан Президент запевнив, що в Європейському Союзі в підтримку України і надалі лунатиме безкомпромісний голос Литви. Делегація Дніпропетровської області висловила Президентові слова щирої подяки за діалог, підтримку України і готовність допомогти. President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda emphasized that the Lithuanian state had made considerable efforts so that Ukraine could obtain political, economic, expert and military technical assistance from the EU and other international structures to stabilize the political and economic situation in the country. Mr. President assured that the uncompromising voice of Lithuania will continue to be in favour of Ukraine in the European Union. The delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region expressed its sincere gratitude to the President for the dialogue, support to Ukraine and readiness to help.
