WIUT Maths Entrance Examination Terms & Conditions
1. Declaration
1.1 I acknowledge that the WIUT Maths Exam is owned by Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT).
1.2 I certify that the information I have given on this Application Form is complete, true and accurate.
1.3 I understand that the personal data on this Application Form will be used for the purposes of the WIUT Maths Exam, and I consent for this data
to be disclosed to, processed and stored by WIUT for this purpose.
1.4 I understand that if the details on this form are not complete, my application may not be processed.
1.5 I further understand that completing and submitting this Application Form does not guarantee enrolment on my preferred program of study.
1.6 I understand that if I engage in any form of malpractice, or do anything that might damage/harm the integrity, reputation and security of WIUT,
I may be excluded from taking the WIUT Maths Exam and admission to the University. I understand that if I am excluded I will receive a
notification stating the length of the ban.
1.7 I understand that if I am subject to a ban and I register to take the test, I will not receive a result and I will not be entitled to a refund.
1.8 I understand that the work I produce as a part of the WIUT Maths Entrance Exam remains the property of WIUT and that under no
circumstances will I release this to any other person(s) or any other institution/organization. If I am the subject of an investigation of suspected
malpractice the work I produce may be provided to relevant authorities.
2. Disclaimer
2.1 The WIUT Maths Exam is designed to be one of the factors used by WIUT for admission to the University.
2.2 The WIUT Maths Exam is not designed to be the sole method of determining admission.
3. Payment terms
3.1 The exam fee contributes to the cost associated with the organization and holding of the exam, setting and processing of the examination and
outcomes, including those costs incurred by the international partners.
3.2 The exam fee is as stipulated on the University’s official website www.wiut.uz.
3.3 Payment is for the whole sum as stated on the admission system, on one-time basis and only through the online payment system as directed via
the application process which is published on website admission.wiut.uz.
3.4 Payment must be made no later than 72 hours after registration for the exam.
4. Cancellation
4.1 I can cancel my registration to the WIUT Maths Exam up to two weeks prior to taking the exam.
4.2 To cancel I must notify the Academic Registrar’s Office by and ONLY by e-mail to admission@wiut.uz.
4.3 If I cancel as in 4.1 I can re-register for another exam using the same fee.
4.4 If I cancel as in 4.1 or I have not chosen Maths exam date, I may claim for refund any time.
4.5 If I do not cancel as in 4.1 and do not attend the exam, I may claim for refund after all WIUT Maths entrance exams for 2019/20 admission
cycle.
5. Transfer of Exam dates/times
5.1 I may change my WIUT Maths Exam date no later than two weeks prior to the exam date to which I have registered.
5.2 Any requests to transfer within two weeks of the Exam Date will be treated as a cancellation.
6. Refunds
6.1 Refunds can be claimed using the refund claim form available through admission.wiut.uz in Contacts and Information Section.
6.2 Refunds will ONLY be made to a bank card, subject to any bank charges and within 3 working days from the refund claim form date.
6.3 Cash Refunds will not be given.
7. Statement
By Registering to the WIUT mathematics examination, I agree that I will:






physically collect the Examination IDentification (EID) at the time and venue communicated via my personal cabinet in
admission.wiut.uz;
bring proof of my identity (passport) together with my EID to the exam venue;
leave all personal belongings in the designated area. The only items I may bring into the test room are my identity document; black or
blue pen(s), ruler, protractor and water in a transparent label-free container;
note that answers written in pencil may not be marked;
be familiar with the Examination Regulations below;
have a right to appeal within the designated time frame and only by following the instructions published on the admission.wiut.uz
website.
Examination Regulations for the Maths Examination
1.
I am not allowed to leave during the first 30 minutes or the last 15 minutes of the examination.
2.
All mobile phones and other electronic devices must be switched off and left at a place indicated by the invigilators. If I am found to
have a mobile phone or other electronic device (switched on or off) on me during the exam, this will be considered as unauthorised
examination materials and I will be disqualified from the exam without a right of appeal or refund of the fee.
3. I am not allowed to talk, to whisper, to turn around or to look at another candidate’s examination, all of which are offences and I will be
penalised.
4. If I commit an offence I will be given a single written warning; after which if as under 2 and 3 I commit a further offence, I will be
reported to an assessment board without a right of appeal or refund of the exam administration fee.
5. I can use non-erasable blue or black pen only. Any answers written in pencil may not be marked.
6. I cannot use whiteout/correction fluid. If I use this material to correct any of my answers they may not be marked. If I make a mistake, I
should simply draw a line through the mistake with pen and continue.
7. I cannot borrow another student’s stationery or materials.
8. If my pen runs out of ink, I may request a replacement from the invigilator. No other stationery or materials may be provided for me by
the invigilator.
9. If I am found to have any unauthorized exam related materials during the examination this will constitute an offence and I will be
disqualified from the exam without a right to claim the reimbursement of the exam administration fee.
10. If I am caught cheating in the examination, I will be disqualified from the exam without a right to claim the reimbursement of the exam
administration fee.
11. Failure to show contents of my pockets or any other containers to the invigilators will be considered as an offence and I will be
disqualified from the exam with no right of appeal or refund of the fee.
