Для получения высокого балла учащимся потребуется не только грамматически и пунктуационно правильно оформить текст, но также продемонстрировать отличное владение инфор­ мацией по заданной тематике, способность к логическому мышлению и использование богатой лексики. Иными сло­ вами, эссе помогает наиболее точно выявить языковой уро­ вень студента. Цель данной книги — познакомить учащихся с алгоритмом написания эссе. Следует также отметить, что немаловажную роль для успешного выполнения данного за­ дания будут играть речевые клише, которые помогут стар­ шеклассникам правильно оформить текст. Итак, для начала рассмотрим основные правила написа­ ния сочинения-рассуждения (Opinion Essay): - правильное стилевое оформление эссе — нейтраль­ ный стиль; - корректная структура и деление на абзацы: 1) введе­ ние; 2) выражение собственного мнения, подкреплен­ ного 2-3 аргументами по заданной проблематике; 3) выражение противоположной точки зрения, подкре­ пленной 1-2 аргументами; 4) доказательство правоты своих суждений (опровержение мнения оппонента); 5) заключение; - соблюдение заданного объема высказывания — 200250 слов (минимум 180 слов, максимум 275); - использование средств логической связи: first of all, moreover, finally, however и т.д.; Эссе по английскому на «отлично»: новые темы - использование фраз, вводящих мнение: in my opinion, as far as I am concerned и т.д.; ' - использование лексики, соответствующей заданной тематике. Как уже говорилось выше, сочинение с элементами рас­ суждения должно состоять из пяти частей. Рассмотрим ка­ ждую из них в порядке очередности. 1. Введение Введение — это первый абзац, в котором должна быть сформулирована проблема и основная идея сочинения. Важно помнить, что введение не должно состоять из одно­ го предложения и быть перегружено речевыми оборотами. Для эмоциональной окраски содержания можно поставить риторический вопрос или вспомнить цитату, которая укажет на высокий уровень владения английским языком. Следует отметить, что многих студентов сбивает с толку сама форму­ лировка проблемы, хотя в действительности требуется лишь перефразировать заданную тему сочинения, используя под­ ходящие синонимы. First of all, an interpreter must have excellent social and communication skills in order to efficiently work with people from different backgrounds.
