The article is represented the experience of the study of the psychological
special features of the value orientations of students in the stage of their vital selfdetermination. The description of procedure and basic results of a study is given.
Empirical data make it possible to estimate the special features of the locus of the
control of personality, the attitude of student toward their past, present and future,
and also general orientation in the time.
