Now it`s your turn to describe the styles of music.
Work in pairs. Choose a card with the name of the
music style. Don`t show it! Use your mini
dictionaries to describe it.


Dear Elena,

My name is Giacomo Alvarez and for my friends I'm “Smok”. I’m 13 years old and I’m in the second year of an Italian
secondary middle school. I come from Venezuela but now I live in Cognola in the province of Trento, in Italy.
I live with my family. My father Hermann is an entrepreneur and my mother Barbara is a housewife. I’ve got two sisters.
My sister Monserrat is 9 years old and she’s in the fourth year of an Italian primary school. My sister Barbara (like my
mom) is 12 years old and she’s in the first year of an Italian secondary school. I also have a dog. Her name is Kelly. She’s
4 years old and she is a German Shepherd.
In my free time I like playing football with my best friends Corrado, Luca, Sussa, Ferro, Chicco, Corsini and Ale . They
sometimes come to my house and We play some games and do our homework.
My hobby is playing with the XBOX 360 and playing football in the football ground with my friends.
My favorite football team is Juventus and I like watching their matches on TV every weekend.
I like very much listening to music. My favorites kinds of music are Pop, Rap and House music. My favorite singer is
Eminem and his best song is “Not Afraid” while my favorite group instead is the Black Eyed Peas. It`s amazing!!!
Until last year I played football but I prefer tostay on my own.
Daily I get up at 7:00 a.m and I go to school and I go to bed at about 12:00 p.m. I`m so busy – you know what`s it like.
My mother often cooks pasta and my favorite food is Pizza.
Sorry but I don’t have a photo of my family...
